Girls on
the Run
May 19, 2007
Girls on the Run educates and prepares girls in
grades 3 through 8 for a lifetime of self-respect
and healthy living, culminating in a 5K run in which
Spark participated to help celebrate these young
girls. A number of Spark volunteers joined Girls on
the Run on Saturday, May 19th, 2007 at San
Francisco�s Chrissy Field for the Annual GOTR-SF Lollipop
Run. Some handed out water, others painted faces and a few
were �running buddies� who ran alongside young girls while
providing encouragement and cheering her on to the finish
line. |
