Spark was started with an initial investment of $5,000 raised amongst our peers. With those seed funds, Spark has blossomed into a community of 5,000 young professionals in the Bay Area who have raised nearly $1,000,000 for 20 grassroots women's organizations worldwide.

Our exponential growth is the result of the energy and commitment our peers have for improving the lives of women around the world. In the next two years, Spark has pledged to expand our network, our educational programming and grantmaking capacity. To achieve our lofty programmatic goals, we have to raise capital to invest in our vision.
