Back to Delegations	Spark Delegation to Jordan November 2006 As a part of its First Annual Gala, Spark raised $5,000 for a group of women in Jordan who were teaching women to be business savvy through a clothes recycling program. Spark traveled with ten young Bay Area women to meet these women and other grassroots women�s organizations making positive change in their communities. Spark also met with the Minister of Labor, the Minister of Education and the Office of Her Majesty Queen Rania, to learn about the social issues that Jordanian women face. Spark shared the stories of the women that we met at a Photo Exhibit Event in San Francisco. Spark�s Jordan Delegation Trip was featured by the Jordan Times and the San Francisco Chronicle.
