HIJAS"

mysteriously disappeared in 2003 in the city of ,
Mexico while walking home one day.
Tragically, Neyra's cousin, David Meza, was
tortured into confessing to the murder, and is currently facing sentencing

The disappearance is a part of a series of murders of young women in this
region, all of which go unsolved and completely uninvestigated by the local
authorities. Jessica Marques of the Mexico Solidarity Network also spoke about
the underlying causes of this horrible situation, and explained more about
the kinds of actions that we can take to help stop this violence and bring
justice to the families of these innocent young women. |
