Spark is excited to partner with the United Nations Association Film Festival (UNAFF) for a screening of "In the Tall Grass," a film by J. Coll Metcalfe that tells the story of a Rwandan genocide survivor named Joanita Mukarusanga as she navigates through the historic community courts, "gacaca", in order to confront the neighbor she says killed her family, and the community that sanctioned the murders.

In light of Spark’s support in 2004 of a Rwandan widows’ group, we hope you will join us for this moving film to continue our education on the issues faced by women and other genocide survivors in Rwanda.
